Your Baby's First Year of Life will go by in a flash!
Professional portraits are the best way to preserve this precious,
fleeting time. Our Baby Steps Club was designed to make it easy for you!
Schedule your baby’s first session before 3 months of age (at our regular
custom pricing) and you’re automatically enrolled in our
Baby Steps Club. Each additional custom portrait session over your baby’s
first year is just $500.
Include Mommy & Me, Daddy & Me, your
family, and siblings at any session! You will view at least 50 proofs from
each session in an online gallery.
A small travel fee may apply to each session depending on
your location.
The
Session Fee includes Custom
Portrait Session in your home, a CD with up to 50 enhanced digital files from your session images with
reproduction rights, an online gallery with movie-style slide show, and a
$100 credit towards prints and products. Choose from our unique Brag Book
or apply your credit towards one of our collections.
Your
session includes about two hours for your newborn session and about an
hour for subsequent sessions with your choice of backdrops, as well as
your home's natural decor. Every session is a custom portrait session with
poses of just your baby, poses with Mommy & Daddy, and the whole family,
as desired. You may include outdoor poses in your yard, as well. Includes
up to four* subjects with multiple backgrounds and outfit changes, if
desired.
Fee
includes a $100
print credit towards your order, IF order is placed within two weeks of
your gallery being posted online.* You may apply your credit to a Brag
Book of 4x6 prints, to a la carte prints, or towards a Collection. See our

Book as many or as few sessions over
your Baby's First Year as you like. Please note that sessions are
generally planned based on baby's development and not chronological age
(as every baby develops differently). Traditional plan includes the
following sessions.
A New Life
Newborn - 2 months
This is a great time to focus on all the little details - the hands,
fingers, toes, and the special bond between a newborn and parent. Our
black background is very popular for this session, and we'll start with
it. Mom and Dad should be dressed in long sleeved black shirts and dark
pants or jeans. Your baby can be bare, in a diaper with a diaper
cover, or can wear a cloth diaper. Your First Family Portrait will be
captured at this session.
Baby Love
4-5 months
Your baby should be pushing up from a
tummy position for this session. We'll try to capture a sweet, smiling
portrait, although a serious look is very endearing, as well. This is a
wonderful age to photograph a tender Mommy & Me portrait.
Personality
6 -8 months
Your child should be sitting independently for this session. Six month
olds are very expressive, and our goal will be to capture these adorable,
changing expressions in fun portraits. Appropriate clothing includes:
Diaper covers, bloomers, overalls, tulle skirts or a simple solid-colored
outfit. This is a great age for a fun Daddy & Me portrait.
Freedom
1 year (generally 10-12 months)
What a great time to capture the essence of your baby’s personality! Your
baby should be standing independently for this session. Clothing ideas
include: overalls, bare feet, tulle dresses. This is usually a short
session, as this age has much more important things to do than deal with
me!

Some clients choose to schedule monthly sessions to
fully capture their baby's first year - other clients may choose newborn,
six months, and one year. It's your choice!
